The point is, you're dead certain about things no one can be dead certain of.
What am I dead certain of Gary?
That Christianity is the case. Or have you now switched to agnosticism?
That "Christianity" is the case of what? I have it direct from the source that Christ did as stated if that's what you are concerned about. (Mojito on the way...mmm...mojito)

attofishpi wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2023 1:49 am That's your idea of a logical extension? From Christ getting pissed off at a bunch of market sellers in a Church and knocking the stalls over...to Christ bashing a man's skull in and causing him to be disabled for the rest of his life!
OK, OK, I admit I made it up! All exaggeration. But think of it: a violent outburst has effects. It was a punishment, a chastisement. And the point is that Christians do say that failing to capture the message (of repentance) will result in far worse than head bumps from a thrashing. To be crippled at the hand of god is certainly better than eternal punishment.

Forgive my breeziness in playing irreverently within these tropes. I have not relinquished the sense of respect for the sacred. It is that I am no longer very clear what it refers to.
Some people are scared of the sacred, and indeed they should be.

Do you consider being judged to be less than worth.Y of being a wo/man to be a valid eternal punishment for some? 666

Surely you comprehend that my image contains far more by way of information pertaining to esoteric wisdom than yours?

This one promises to be even better than tillingborn v. Skepdick. To be fair, I didn't understand much of that one, so the bar is set pretty low.

Fair fight, gentlemen. No low blows, and keep your teeth away from each others' ears.

It's (woo hooo delivered!) going to be all good and I dedicate this song to my good friend Gary, a complicated man, much like me.

Love that song. I'm very glad to be reminded of it.

A peace offering? Accepted by Gordian Gazza? The fight can be called off?

Good old web searches. I now know exactly what that means. It's not like Gary to lose the bottle. Maybe your song lulled him into a state of melancholy from which he cannot rouse himself. Cunning, atto...

Otherwise, you and I will have to find something to fight over. The good folk of this thread were promised a show. Somebody's gotta deliver.

I've just ordered another mojito (and a Glenlivet Whisky) - would you believe they asked whether I wanted a non- alcohol mojito!! They obviously didnt notice my slight aussie accent. (Im pretty certain the 1st mojito had alcohol - kinda buzzed!!)

I worry now that with these revelations you weaken yourself tactically. It becomes open to Gary to declare: I refuse on principle to fight a drunk man, just as on principle I would not sleep with a drunk woman.

We may need video proof that you can still walk in a straight line. That might satisfy him enough to return to the ring.

I wrote my best poetry drunk...it gives me clarity actually. (or maybe I am being cunning and making Gary think I am weakened in thought)
