She had a 16-inch thick armor belt that ran along the middle of the ship hull. This is where conventional torpedoes strike. When the Japs hit em with the first one, it shifted her trim and she leaned to the side, raising the armor belt above the strike depth of the torpedos and exposing the underbelly. The sonsabitches then flew at her from the other side and launched the other three. Direct impact right through the hull.

They reconstructed all this by examining the wreckage.

Correction: the first torpedo hit the propeller shaft, causing two fatalities. The shift of the ship's trim and a bent propeller shaft that damages the bulkhead seals as it turns, allowing water to flood the entire hull by passing through these broken shaft seals.

"It was obvious that the three destroyers were going to take hours to pick up those hundreds of men clinging to bits of wreckage and swimming around in the filthy, oily water. Above all this, the threat of another bombing and machine-gun attack was imminent. Every one of those men must have realised that. Yet as I flew around, every man waved and put up his thumb as I flew over him. After an hour, lack of petrol forced me to leave, but during that hour I had seen many men in dire danger waving, cheering and joking, as if they were holiday-makers at Brighton waving at a low-flying aircraft. It shook me, for here was something above human nature."

That cheering and joking was not just an expression of the joy of being rescued. Those dudes were still in that pseudo-berserker state they went into as the ship was being pummeled with torpedoes. And don't let em lie to you; they loved every minute of it. Never in their lives had they experienced more excitement and felt more alive... running around that deck like madmen shouting and cursing, fires and smoke and machine gun fire everywhere.

Yeah those guys were still in the zone floating out there cracking jokes 'n shit as if the worst fucking tragedy imaginable didn't just happen. Had to be. It wasn't a case of guys trying to lighten the mood with jokes. No, these guys were still slightly mad out there in the water, and if the Japs did a fly over with machine guns blazing they'da loved that too. When you're no longer afraid and just mesmerized by how cinematic and surreal everything happening is around you. That's where they were at.

It's hard to snap a man out of his battle zone. Stays with em for hours, sometimes days.

How Kim Jung Un had his brother killed. He had two female sexy beast korean assassins waiting for the brother to arrive at an airport. As he was walking through the airport one of the assassins casually walks up and rubs his face with her hands and quickly walks away. Stunned, he stands there wondering what just happened, and the other assassin walks up and does the same thing.

Two chemicals that, when combined, produce a fatal poison.

How fuckin cool is that? That's Kill Bill level shit right there. I wonder if that was Kim's idea of one of his advisors.

Also, a scottish king from the late 15th century had a woman and two children isolated on an island in an experiment to see what language would be used by people who had no contact with the outside world. He thought they would end up speaking the first and original language of god.

Hey, you guys, where you off to?

Oh, we're doing a project for the church. We're going to live isolated and alone on an island forever and we're never coming back to Scotland.

Okay have fun!

Also, two killer whales worked as a team one time and travelled up and down the coast attacking great white sharks, killing seventeen in one day. That's not normal killer whale behavior. Two killer whale guys don't normally become serial killers like that. Maybe you kill a few great whites under ordinary circumstances during a chance encounter... but to strap up and go hunting for them with your bro? And that's all these n*ggas did; swim around lookin' for sharks. All the other killer whales were like "yo what is you guys's deal? Seriously."

The one had a dorsal fin that flopped to the left and the other a fin that flopped to the right. I'm not kidding. Check these two gangstas out. They would systematically remove the livers from the sharks like sicarios or something.

"You are beautiful.... words can't bring you down"

I just heard in an R&B pop song. Yeah, but see, this has to work both ways. If words can't bring her down - they call her irresponsible, dumb, vain, a failure, etc. - then they shouldn't be able to bring her up either. When they call her special, smart, ambitious, unique, why should only these words be applicable to her?

Or could it very well be the case that, indeed, she is an irrelevant idiot who's full of shit and has nothing substantially to offer and those words were true too?

I'm not saying she is. I'm just saying she hadn't considered it because of this weird thing that's happened to her since she suddenly became the voice for all the baby mommas on welfare across the nation. Why on earth would she be telling these people that they're beautiful and that the phrase "you are a useless piece of biological trash who can't even fill out an application without help" shouldn't bring them down? That's just crazy talk.

Drug deal at the Hardees gone south. Bro bro took off running, and dude in the car got away. Being woke and thug-life, i decided to record the incident so i could catch the white POleece beating the black dude up so i could have something to complain and virtue signal about, but alas, the take down was smooth and by the book. Having determined there was no foul play i consoled with members of the local negro community to show my concern and unwavering support.

Since my attack last week, my ankle/foot has been in a bad way and I have been unable to walk Donnie (dog)..so my sister is looking after him. Apparently he had a nice swim down the beach, lucky boy...cos I am v. angry with compoooooter rage.

Two good things when Donnie isn't in the house:
1. I can eat guilt free, and without a dog sat staring into the back of my head.
2. When on compooooter I can SWEAR AND YELL my fucking head off (without freaking my best mate out - thus I have to keep it muffled when he's in da house)

So I am learning Unreal Engine blueprints (visual scripting) - starting to get the hang of it...v slowly. Attempting to switch between 4 cameras all pointed at a cube and a sphere (testing/learning purposes). Finally yesterday by 4pm, I found some legend that showed how he did it (using blueprints). Watching the video, I could tell he wasn't proficient as some other BP utubers, but his solution worked but - what a mess of a way to do it. Definitely not a coder. So I decided to try the code but use an array so that I could add as many cameras as I want, and loop through them, and the screen wouldn't look like an Italian national dish - spaghetti. What a f'ing joke blueprints are. I still ended up with a mess of wires all over the place to simply add or subtract from an index counter to access the array and also check whether the end or start of the array length was matched -no simple 'IF" condition - must use a BRANCH node with bollocks hanging off of it. By the time I had it finished...much time...I turned to the GPT and prompted it as to my requirement and asked for the simplest solution. The f'ing AI told me to do precisely wot i did!!!
Not only that, earlier I was trying to see if all the cameras in the scene were captured into an array, because every time I put my VR on, it would sit on 1 camera and not swing to the next...thus wanted to see if there were 4 elements in the array. I setup a screen print to show the count in my VR headset - it was there - too small to see and you can't change the font size!! I searched to output log for something mentioning array n '4' or '0' nothing..so i added BRIAN:- 'x' -- so I could search thru the mess for what i was looking for..nothing.
I asked the AI IF the output log console would contain the printstring (array count) and it said YES..
NOPE..I finally found it in a different file in the project. I told GPT it was wrong, reply (in effect): "Oh yes that's right it doesn't output to the console log" WOT A C@NT
So after all that shit, I decided I needed to learn how to make my own blueprint nodes in C++. Found an awesome utuber, and bloody funny, poms are nuts with their humour - for anyone interested in any of the compoooter visual Engine stuff I am on part 2 where he's finally starting to explain how to use Visual Studio with UE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GQwpppMgiI&t=1257s
He recommended using Rider rather than Visual Studio..so i installed that. Turns out, you have to request special stuff for the UE version, so i uninstalled it, and NOW ,....NoW ,,,NOW...it appears to have fucked my VS usage with UE..!! Now, I am in the process of reinstalling ALL the VS packages in attempt to fix the issue..time: 2230, if u think car rage is bad, nah, compoooter rage is that x10

Anyway, have a nice NY 2025 - fireworks are starting to go bang, I just wish one would fly thru my window and blow my fucking head off right now!!

btw: It does look awesome though when you glide around the central 'scene' - where one day Helix Carone will be walking the 2105 streets of LA

Hand writing analysis. The margins and lines are incredibly consistent, cold, and organized. Machine-like in its relentless movement with perfect precision across the page; a linguistic apex predator. Impatient and in a hurry. Look at the 'I'; the lower cap of the I is dashed quickly and too high across the axis. The D, R and 9 are badly and too carelessly formed. The dash across the A carries too far; i want to run away, i want to break free. Writing is too primitive for me. Narcissistic; look at how high the cross on the H is. Very efficient and stable... but the pen is picked up three times to make the Es... three violent slashes across the axis. Only a sociopath would attack a letter like that, becoming impatient with it rather than keeping the pen down to draw the top slash and axis on the same stroke.
