The world is a shitfest.

Or worse, make me live in a world that is dying in front of my eyes. Some of us humans are a "malicious species". Chomsky was wrong; it's only some humans who are malicious.

Was Chomsky a closet "sexist" and "racist"? The more I think about some of the things he said, the more I wonder.

Are racists and sexists not evil?

It seems to me that they are. But they don't want to be seen as evil. They want to flourish like the rest of us.

And who can blame them?

Sisyphus was punished by the gods to a futile task of rolling a boulder that is too heavy up a hill. I am punished by God to "box my shadow" for all eternity. Who needs critics when I have myself for that?

But Sisyphus is happy. I am happy. I just belong in an asylum.

An asylum with an Internet connection, preferably.

Most people deny being insane. At least I admit it.

Definitely mania. Get me to an asylum. And have my secretary fix me a cup of coffee, pronto!

OK. Just had to throw some gratuitous humor at the situation. What I meant to say was, have the warden provide me with a coffee pot so I can brew my own.

Foucault criticized the prison system too. Foucault wanted the insane and the impious to die on the roadside from self-neglect instead of being given permanent housing.

"Continental Philosophy" is a farce because it mocks science. At least that's what the scientists say.
