He starts nibbling at a patch of crabgrass. "C'mon, Silver. Hi yo Silver, remember?" C'mon, let's go, buddy." The horse ignores him and continues rooting through the scrub. Don T takes out his phone and presses 5 on speed dial. "Hey, it's me. I don't know what's wrong with this horse, but it isn't moving, Vladimir. I said to the horse, "giddee up," and i kicked it a little like you told me and geez, I don't know... he just went forward a few feet and stopped." "Did you untie the tether from the tree?" Don T leans, looks down in front of the horse, and sees the thin leather rope. "Ah geez i didn't even see that.... i thought you untied my horse too before you got on yours. Alright, hang on, be there in a sec."

I've just been informed by a waitress that Waffle House has a secret menu that they never show the customers because it has omelets on it. She tells me that people would want omelets all the time if they knew Waffle House made them, so they try to keep it a secret. She then tiptoed into the back kitchen and returned with a laminated paper, upon which precisely six kinds of omelets were listed.

Being surrounded by customers examining their menus and preparing to order, I decided not to rock the boat, so i just ordered something else.

Seriously, anyone that hasn't tried this tech can't grasp wot this truly is..

For the fidelity version - u need the PC version pref with at least a RTX 4090 GPU, and the Quest can WIFI so no tethering.

If you are in retirement and a tad bored wiv a bit of spare cash - get the setup!!

So you have what's called 'roomscale' which allows you to walk around a room that you have traced out in your living room or wherever - a safe area with no obstacles. Most of the time within the game you are pretty much stood in one spot though - fighting you can get a tad carried away and end up punching bookshelves or windows! - if you move close to the boundary that you had traced out a 'matrix' of light appears (showing the safe box area) to warn you that you are close to the boundary.

Don't half arse it - these days you can just get a headset - like the Quest 3 and that has onboard CPU processing - and if the developers scale the graphical quality down, it will run onboard the headset standalone - but nah - looks like graphics of yesteryear!

So what you need is a PC with a decent GPU - if you can afford an RTX 4090 then yippy - you can max out to ultra graphics settings for games like Behemoth. GPUs are expensive & so are PCs (gaming motherboards, RAM, CPU, SATA SSD drives).

Honestly, if you are on a budget you might be able to find second hand gaming PCs. Games can be dialled down for the graphics if your PC is a little sluggish.

I've got 3 VR headsets now - bin into it since VIVE 2016. I like using the Quest 2 because it is not tethered with HDMI/USB cables to the PC - I tweaked some WIFI settings - and it looks and runs fine via WIFI to PC.

RE the running thang within the game - on your hand controllers there is a little thumb joystick on both the left & right controllers - you simply push forward, left or whatever - hold down to sprint etc..
