The two occasions I've been to the States, I've loved the people. The authorities less, apart from when they kicked a man off a bus because he felt inclined to be hostile towards my Englishness. Someone else on the bus reported it and I was asked if the guy was bothering me. I just repeated what he said and they asked him to disembark. It was the last bus until the next morning. He was left at a terminus, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night.I was stunned but very grateful,

If you must know, I don't like my government either, but under the circumstances it's the best we can do. We have chosen the lesser of 2 evils, and I'm sure that choosing a businessman like Trump is better than choosing a criminal like Hillary. To tell the truth, I would have voted for anyone else against Trump, but since the choice was Hillary or Trump, I chose Trump. In US politics it seems that lately we have been voting for the best of the worst, those who want the office, shouldn't have it, and those who should have the office, don't want it.
