The above is the glass house of your unquestioning belief in Iron Age myths being shattered by your thoughtlessly thrown "stone".

FYI, I can see the trap here, you believe the evidence for UFOs is just as shaky as that for Christianity, except that I have had an experience that has convinced me, but I accept that others have not had that experience, and do not accept it as true.
What each person experiences is THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE, right? There are people who have experienced UFOs, and nothing you say will convince them otherwise. It is REAL for them. Okay, so your experience of God is real to you. That does not make it real to anyone else. It is your unique experience. How is there any difference? This is why it's so outrageous when theists insist that THEIR EXPERIENCE must be recognized as the OVERALL DIVINE AND/OR TRUE REALITY FOR ALL. How does that make any sense at all? We are all having our own very real experiences.
I don't ask you to believe what I believe. I just say "this experience exists too; yours is not the ultimate reality". Do you disagree?
And I don't ask you to believe what I believe, just accept that I believe it, and don't criticize me for it.

Not at all true, there are many cases where the atheists bring up the subject with the purpose of disproving theism, usually they fail.
I thought it was obvious I was referring to this forum. I would have thought it was fairly obvious that non-believers might sometimes bring up the topic in the entirety of the internet and planet in general.

Can't take criticism? And it's hard to 'criticise' something when no one knows what you are talking about.

I thought Doc had acquired a sense of humour there for a second.

I had one of those close to where I lived. The original owner developed the business till it was the "Snap Dragon Capitol" of the world. He would ship cuttings to all parts of the world. His assistant took over and thought he could do better, and ran the business into the ground. When the business finally failed and closed, he would pick the stones out of his garden and throw them over his shoulder, breaking the glass out of the structure that he was next to. I believe the land owners have finally torn the structure down.

I have stated my beliefs on this forum many times in many different threads. I can't help it if you have a short memory, or can't be bothered to look up the relevant posts.

There you go again. Wasn't the discussion about your 'proof in the form of audio-recordings' (that have since been misplaced) of the existence of your god?

It wasn't "misplaced" it was lost in a house fire, there is a difference.

Whatever it is, or was, there will be a perfectly mundane explanation, but that would be of no interest to you.

Seriously... there's no other solid proof or other recordings of a god that everyone can look upon? Why is that? There's reportedly more actual evidence of UFOs (photos and recovered materials) than of a god. Why couldn't a god do better than that?

What I find pretty sick and distasteful is when survivors of disasters like plane crashes etc. will say on camera that 'god was looking after me' when he clearly wasn't 'looking after' the other 500, 5000...men, women and children who didn't survive. It shows a horrendous lack of empathy for the families of the dead. There was one where a survivor was holding up her bible that she had with her, that was only singed around the edges. God saved her bible but let all those people burn. Actually it's quite difficult to burn a dense book. Try burning a thick phone book.

They're going to try to tell you what experiences you
can and
cannot have possibly have, thedoc.
And they call Theists "arrogant."
