A lot of free-thinking yutes in Canada would be proud to be Americans.
Those who sincerely convert to anything, even another country, usually are the most ardent supporters.
Biting the hand that feeds opportunity is a curious contradiction of non-allegiance to the new country, caused by cross-wiring the brain from within the comfort zone of freebies given out by the government, intended to buy political favour.
To troll this practice of politicians in the United States, a practice enthusiastically pursued by the Biden administration with the free hotels in NYC for border-jumpers, among other gifts ... Trump recently offered a $5000 reward to citizens, for political favour in the midterm elections.
Of course, squealing ensued.
Any injunctions that haven't been declared, are on the way.
A successful trolling of political pandering that was the reasoning why the Democrats opened the borders and flooded the country with unvetted illegals ... country be damned.
Trump framed the offer as ... sharing the wealth, that he made possible with his policies.
In effect, the government would be confiscating less money (life force) from the good folks.

Surely you don't think Trump would be doing Canada a favor by taking over the country, do you? Would you want Donald Trump as your President? Yes or no?
And if "liberals" are the ones "alienating" Canada, is it then conservatives in Canada who are the ones who would lead the defection to the US?
There is a small minority (maybe 10%) which wants to join the US.
They have basically 3 motivations :
1. They don't want no government telling what to do.
2. They think immigration has ruined the country and will ultimately destroy it.
3. They think they will become very wealthy.
BTW, this is not new.

The US is $40 trillion in debt and growing.
It doesn't collect enough tax revenue or other revenue.
Same as living off credit cards.

Canadian oil and timber would feed that hunger that pays for Western defense and baubles made in China.

That's one highly unlikely scenario. He would never need to invade. Canada's so weak and wobbly right now, he can save himself the effort. Successive Liberal regimes have really put the country in trouble...no military to speak of, very limited industrial capacity, inflated prices for everything, the social safety net in danger, inhumane immigration policy, political interference from China, a fentanyl crisis in the streets...and the West and Quebec both increasingly restless...
Meanwhile, the Americans are their biggest market for resources, and they share the longest unguarded border in the world. Why invade? Just wait until the Liberals so alienate the West that Alberta defects...Saskatchewan is certain to follow, and then Manitoba and then BC will have to, or be isolated. Quebec's semi-Socialist system will collapse without Alberta's funding, and Ontario can't fund the whole East.
The whole thing will collapse like a bad house of cards. It's pretty close now.
A true Trumpian analysis!
I'm not American. I have no interest in Trump, or his analyses, or anybody else's. All I'm telling you is exactly what's going on in Canada.

I didn't say it would be good. I just said it would be dead easy for him to do. He won't need any military aiction, because Canada's already rotting from inside. Ideologically-driven, Leftist governments will do that. They always have.

No! You're definitely not telling even remotely what's going on in Canada. To know what's going on I'd have to go to a more official, statistical source than some guy who shoots his mouth off because he's certain he's infallibly right whatever his pronouncements. In spite of the ups and downs, no one, ANYWHERE knows EXACTLY what's going on or coming down.
One thing is for certain. The geopolitical situation is in a state of flux and with all the new but necessary relationships being created, it's the US who will lose a lot of the power it held in former times not to mention, it's reserve currency status being rapidly eroded. It's then that the effects of a 37 Trillion debt will come home to roost...and the consequences of that...well, let's not talk about it!

You wouldn't, of course.

Let me rephrase:
How would I know that you couldn't possibly know EXACTLY what's going on in Canada!
I'm sorry to doubt you. Should have known that YOU'RE the only one who can say for certain exactly what's going on when there isn't anybody in Canada or elsewhere who could possibly make that claim.
Should have know that with all the power of your scriptural insight you would know exactly!
Yes! There is a crises to come. These are certain to follow most geopolitical convulsions as are now taking place in torrents and the country most affected is the one which has the most to lose.
Can you guess which one that is?

I was interested in the claim above that maybe 10 percent of Canadians would quite like Canada to become part of the USA. To get an idea of how significant that was, I asked Google's built in AI, whatever it's called, and it gave me similar numbers based on occasional polls. Then for the sake of comparison I asked how many Americans would like the USA to become part of Canada. It misunderstood me and gave me again a similar answer to above, just phrased slightly differently. So I restated my question, and then it said:
Apologies for misreading your initial question. Roughly 20% (one in five) of US citizens would vote for their state to secede from the US and become part of Canada.
Public Sentiment on Joining Canada
The Léger Poll: According to a poll conducted by the polling firm Léger, 20% of Americans expressed that they would like their home state to secede from the United States and become a Canadian province.
Age Demographics: This sentiment is significantly stronger among younger generations. The same data indicates that 30% of Americans aged 18 to 34 would support their state joining Canada.
Political Drivers: Polling analysts note that this desire is heavily driven by intense political polarization within the US. Many respondents who support joining Canada point to disagreements over major domestic policies—such as abortion rights and immigration—as reasons to seek "refuge" under Canadian governance.

I wonder, what percentage would vote to give America and Canada back to their original owners, the Jews, ouch, excuse me, - the Indians!?
