**** The natural world is defined by cycles of emergence and dissolution of things, life and death, expansion and contraction of populations, cyclical seasons, revolutions of planets, quantum spin, etc.
Your cycles eventually fall apart as time goes on, and they aren't perfect cycles anyway. And a large part of the world doesn't follow cycles. So it's obvious that the natural world isn't defined by cycles, nor by hard emergence and dissolution.
Atla , would you please compare "cycles" with spirals like thesis, antithesis, and synthesis ?

Time is a cycle of distinctions for without the quality of distinction time ceases for the cycle of emergence and dissolution of things is time and by emergence/dissolution there is distinction.
The advancement of computing, the foundational attribute for the modern world, is grounded in the recursion of 1 and 0...a cycle.

1 and 0 in computing aren't cycles, they are different voltages or whatever in a piece of hardware. Sometimes used recursively sometimes not.

Voltage alternates direction, alternation is a cycle.

A spiral is a progressive cycle.

Voltages typically don't alternate in computers, and a finite alternation isn't some fundamental cycle anyway.

If 1 and 0 is dependent upon voltage then the voltage is expressed by alternating 1s and 0s.
The fundamental cycle of consciousness is the awareness of it.

To see a box effectively puts one in a box.

They aren't "dependent" and computer code isn't just 010101010101.. forever.

A spiral is a progressive cycle.
It is indeed. The important difference between a progressive cycle and a cycle is the former pertains to change and the latter to sameness. Change implies hope for better and efforts to make this a better world. Sameness implies fatalism.

The fundamental cycle of consciousness is the awareness of it.
When awareness knows sensation consciousness is born, as awareness popped aware.
Different words that are identically the same.

_______
Sameness is maintained through change for by change the original thing is maintained through adaptation.
Using basic binary code for example.
There is 1. There is 0.
Each value is maintained through a recursive string, a cycle.
The recursive string is a new identity by isomorphism, a "different' thing of the same nature.
Recursion is a cycle.
Isomorphism is progressive change, linear.
Both coexist as a spiral.

The fundamental cycle of consciousness is the awareness of it.
That's a primitive, too simplistic, misleading way of trying to grasp self-awareness imo. Looks Buddhist.
