Well, there are those who would say, "wake the fuck up! Good Will Hunting is a great film!! And if you don't agree, you are a stupid goddamn moron!!!
Others, however, would say, "wake the fuck up! Good Will Hunting is horseshit!! And if you don't agree, you are a stupid goddamn moron!!!"
Whereas someone like me would suggest instead that our reactions to films revolve largely around the manner in our value judgments are rooted existentially in dasein.
Thus, personally, there are things I liked about it and things I did not. My own subjective prejudices as it were. And I would never suggest that, philosophically or otherwise, all rational men and women are obligated to think about it exactly as I do.

, it sounds to me like a chapter in a Chinese course of enlightenment. It begs the question, has anyone EVER been truly enlightened on this planet...or how long must we wait before it happens if not too late to have any effect. So far, stupidity has had complete control of the planet. Can that ever change or, like political correctness, is that assumption an inherent oxymoron!

...a little naive! Most people would ask, what denotes a "superior understanding"; in what sense is it superior? As so often happens, what's claimed as 'superior' is bunk to someone else. Affirming wisdom invariably leads to an examination of its propositions.
