I.play.Satyr!
No, seriously, how self-conscious are you in playing him here?

Or, perhaps, you are playing Alan Sokal instead?

Really, I sometimes imagine that posting here is just an exercise in irony for you. You post as you do only in order to mock pedants like Satyr.

Well, there are those who would say, "wake the fuck up! Good Will Hunting is a great film!! And if you don't agree, you are a stupid goddamn moron!!!

Others, however, would say, "wake the fuck up! Good Will Hunting is horseshit!! And if you don't agree, you are a stupid goddamn moron!!!"

Whereas someone like me would suggest instead that our reactions to films revolve largely around the manner in our value judgments are rooted existentially in dasein.

Thus, personally, there are things I liked about it and things I did not. My own subjective prejudices as it were. And I would never suggest that, philosophically or otherwise, all rational men and women are obligated to think about it exactly as I do.

Like you?

You're right. Why should I spend more time making a fool out of you when no one does a better job of that than you yourself.

Congrats on having soared where no man has gone before! But seriously  , it sounds to me like a chapter in a Chinese course of enlightenment. It begs the question, has anyone EVER been truly enlightened on this planet...or how long must we wait before it happens if not too late to have any effect. So far, stupidity has had complete control of the planet. Can that ever change or, like political correctness, is that assumption an inherent oxymoron!

How would one know?

A person has a superior understanding. Others recognize that superior understanding in him/her.

Nope! Neither one nor the other though they remain the favorites, being the most well-known as wisdom's greatest exemplars. The reasons for such a distinction appear trivial to me.

One can't know but if there were they had little to no effect.

...a little naive! Most people would ask, what denotes a "superior understanding"; in what sense is it superior? As so often happens, what's claimed as 'superior' is bunk to someone else. Affirming wisdom invariably leads to an examination of its propositions.

Was Jesus enlightened when the Jewish authorities nailed some sense into him?

Men can be mothers.
Men can breast feed.
Men can be lesbians.
Women have penises.
Children are political tools.
North is South.
Left is right.
Women need to shut the fuck up.
Sculptor is rational and reasonable.
