People often mistake my instance on higher standards for "being a dick".
Some say folks choose the delusion of unwarranted, shiny self-assessments.
I don’t think anyone would choose to be like that.
Do you?
Since global warming is not verifiable, do you think it's science?

That seems to contradict your previous post. We couldn't fly 2000 years ago. Now we can so progress clearly happens. So then why can't we set our societal goal as continued human non-extinction?
In the "knowledge-completeness" scale I have set for myself - if we survive for the next 1000000 years. I'd give that 100% for knowledge

Yes. I choose to be like that. I guess I am not anyone then?

Then you choose to be delusional.

Then you choose to be delusional.
By that definition the Wright brothers were delusional?
And here I thought delusion is supposed to be a bad thing

No, you’re delusional because as said through this dialogue, you choose the delusion of unwarranted, shiny self-assessments.
The self-assessment of the Wright brothers was warrented, and proven by their doing.
What is your comparable achievement?

I didn't say that. That's your language/description of me.
I am in no position to make any self-assessment OR verification of my claim. I will be long dead before the 1000000 years have passed.

I mirrored your very own definitions of "knowledge" (being able to do something we haven't done before). You used flight as particular example. I raised the bar to extinction-avoidance.
Then you flipped on me and called that delusional. Is it knowledge or delusion, or are you just struggling with consistency?

I think you're getting confused in your attempts to screw around.
You're definitely not interested in a serious dialogue.
You commented somewhere you like to screw with people.
I see no cause to give you a moment more.

I haven't made any self-assessment? I have stated a desire. An objective goal. For US - humans. Not for ME - TimeSeeker. I don't really matter.
Individuals are expendable - humanity is not.

Well that depends on whether you recognize individual achievements or team efforts. In the 80s and 90s I helped design/build/scale the internet.
I helped design/build a few distributed systems. You may have heard of one of them. We call it Google.

Oh, trust me - I am. It's just that I am not convinced you can tell what serious dialogue looks like.

Yes. I am screwing with
YOUR inconsistency. I am pointing it out - you don't like it. That says a whole lot about your inability to introspect/self-correct
That is - if you value consistency. Which - I don't. I am inconsistent and a hypocrite. But I am effective

Observe the strategy
YOU are

I’m trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it

Sure, it’s obvious you’re stuck on the superficial.
You are communicating with the judgement found from within your own private world.
Although it is arbaritary, the realm of six as defined by the title of that thread, to which your wink refers, serves as an objective, absolute standard of comparison for the doing of words within that realm.
Here, your standard for the doing of words is wholly your own, based wholly on your own self-professed ignorance of what’s going on.
It is you who, for some reason, find that you cannot read, comprehend, and deal with the material presented, for your postings are not based on content, or even communication.
As you said, your purpose is to mirror your personal judgments and comprehension of what you perceive.
In other words, just fuck around.
You can continue on but I'm done. You're spouting a lot of nonsense.

Yeah. The realm of six is defined in Language. Language is open to interpretation so any claim you have to 'objectivity' falls to my postmodern methods. Because you haven't solved the symbol-grounding problem

Language is just a tool.

No. The symbol-grounding problem breaks every language. If any such notion of "objectivity" exists. A problem is it!

You keep strawmanning me

You do have any mind-reading powers I am not aware of? I didn't say any of that.
My purpose is to realize my desires. With the tiny caveat that the universe is trying to kill us. So we kinda have to worry about that
OBJECTIVE PROBLEM.
