If I wanted to know what is inside my body I would need to study biology, to know anything is to have knowledge. Knowledge of life requires a conscious dimension...(for anything to become known)

Without consciousness you would not be able to report the knowledge of anything about life, or how water travels up to the top of a tree. You only know something because of the knowledge you have; the point you are missing as you always do, is that there is only ''knowing'' and where do you think knowing comes from? ... it comes from the only knowing there is and that is consciousness.

And where does consciousness reside? In the body, specifically in a body with senses in an external world. Although you've still not been very clear what you are actually referring to with the word 'consciousness'?

The tree already knows how to draw water to itself. The one that knows this is knowledge and that one is illusory, it's a story consciousness tells itself. The narrative in life is a fiction. Consciousness is the real fictional story.

This is what you don't seem to understand. But then you have your own ideas, and you believe what you want to believe, and that's absolutely fine, I have no quibble with that, because it's still consciousness expressing as and through Arising-uk's story.

'Consciousness' is what? If there is nothing outside itself how can it 'know' anything?
