Once again bob draws from his stock responses. Maybe he's a candidate for the Turing Test! Of course!! That'd explain a shitload!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's a variation of the Turding Test, of which you're an acknowledged expert.

The same quotation could be applied to you, my friend, even though I assume you're not a lady, although I'm not prepared to debate the point.
Bob, you are priceless. As Arising intimated, you don't actually debate anything, a bit like Walter Williams. Mind you, it's a mystery why a prophet like you needs vindication from someone who doesn't have a hotline to the almighty. Is WW just a bit closer to god than you?
A prophet doesn't have to debate anything, and although Walter Williams has never intimated that he is one, he does speak with intimate authority.

Yeah, but what we need to know is, when you two disagree, who should we believe?

Ooo! Look! It's programmed to ignore any substantial points. Kudos to the coders.

That's an easy question, my friend, always believe Bob the Baptist, the new guru, the modern messiah, the wizard of Ouzo, a prophet of all things spiritual, political and economic.

I also commented on Williams.

Prophets do debate political things, otherwise it would make no sense to be a political prophet. You could start by discussing my previous statements and answer my previous questions.

Thanks for the clarification, Bob. Rest assured that if that no good Walter Williams picks a fight, I'm in your corner!

(If you think I should know better, I agree, but seriously, what damage can I do?)

Prophets never debate; that would be like asking John on the isle of Patmos to debate the book of Revelation!

Thanks, but I don't think you'll have to put on your boxing gloves any time soon.

So will you be continuing discussion on this particular thread?

There's really nothing more to discuss except for pointing out the error of your ways.

Bob, you would tell us anything. John the Baptist debated the Pharisees and so did Jesus. It's in Matthew and John. In the Old Testament Moses debated the Pharaoh, did he not?

Sometimes prophets were hauled in front of authorities to explain and justify their actions.

Well, you know, if you want to waterboard somebody, I guess you can get him to debate whatever you want.

henry quirk wrote:"You got a better argument for why guns are'nt the problem?"

Guns only allow for (generally) easier killing.

Guns are not the source of the antipathy or insanity that leads to killing.

Try again, x-wonder.
So you LIKE THE IDEA THAT IDIOTS FIND IT GENERALLY EASIER TO KILL ,
this is good that a criminal can kill you a bit easier ,,???
explain please , are you saying you think we should make it easier for our criminals and thugs ,
to generally find it easier to kill us ,,???
