Well there are some posters here who seem to take exception to what you post and the way you post.
But the ones who seem to like what I post more than make up for that.
I thought there might have been some particular incident in the past that started it. Otherwise, those strong reactions don't make much sense to me.
Strong reactions to what?

Usually it seems to be a reaction to a lack of commitment to a position.

In Harbal's defence (not that he needs me) I don't think people on the daft side of the pond quite 'get him' and his subtle humour where he generally baits stupid people with their stupid comments.

Now.

Getting back on topic, what are the FIVE pillars of Christianity?

General question: Are psychedelic mushrooms quite popular ‘Down Under’?

Certainly I am not sure regarding 'popular'.

Do you consider taking pschotropics an aid of thought where "philosophy" is concerned?

I think Harbal's independent thinking and resistance to simply latching onto a position that clearly has limitations or faults is one of his strengths. He is not intoxicated by facades or group opinion in a way that many people might be. He is an inspiration!

To my lack of commitment to a position?

You would have to ask those who react to it.

If Harbal didn't want to be a swimmer, he would probably loiter around swimming forums.
He's cute, he's clever, he makes the girls laugh, he smells like a rose, he's a bimbo.

Harbal is a philosophy groupie.
Harbal doesn't care to be a philosopher, he just sucks on their Energy.

What makes a philosopher in your view, Walker?

You're more entrenched than he is, and this seems to annoy you. You take certain things more seriously... in fact, very seriously. But, truly, how much are your efforts changing anything at all? You spend hours debating with I.C... another entrenched person... and where are the amazing results of all that seriousness? Humor is divine.

In fact I could be more entrenched, but it would depend on what is meant by the word. I think I grasp what you mean by it but you know as well that I view you as having resolved for a vague ‘freedom’ from most or all decisiveness and ‘philosophical foundation’ which, of course, is an odd choice on a philosophy forum! But honestly I do not harshly judge your choices. This is all friendly conversation (I hope).

Hours debating IC?!? Months … Inadvertently he helped me tremendously. I overcame him. That’s a personal achievement that will remain. It has ramifications in numerous other areas.

I take my own existential standing seriously. I don’t anymore have a choice in the matter. I set forth on this road a long time ago and “the road you travel at a certain point defines you”. The choice made “becomes one’s fate”.

There has been nothing but pure advantage gained over these months. For myself personally. I couldn’t care much less if IC got nothing. Or anyone else. I am here for my own purposes.

There is nothing that annoys me about Harbal personally. Honestly. He is for me a sort of Everyman. I make points in relation to him or about a ‘type’ that exists today. Having reread what I’ve written I’m not unsatisfied.

Walker's 'gossip', projections, and crazy spew cannot be concealed under his swami robes for long. Each new moment offers the opportunity for a new delusion he'll be completely convinced of! Who shall he be? What shall he believe? How much crap can he produce? He'll be sure to show us.

Why the scare quotes around 'philosophical foundation'? What is it that is an odd choice on a philosophy forum?
