i remember one of those places had a candy bar.

(i don't recommend this to anyone else at all, do this, nor condone this for any of my children at all.)

anyhow, yeah you could pull up into the towns cornerbar after roadripping, grab a burger, a table/boothe, with all your kids in tow and stay there until the doors closed. it was great guess where i was? the jukebox! and sippin booze

you could walk in with your kids lookin like raggety anns and noone ever said a thing. never an eyebrow raised, never an eye rolled. those were days.

anyways, i guess things are better now. but i still have that spirit of the wild in me, i was born a rebel in the first place, just ask my poor parents, but i'm quite tame now, you wouldn't even believe it. the comparison of the rebel born in me as to what i am now... you'd rub your eyes in disbelief.
