And this is your philosophical stupidness as from what you've said even with this 'aphilosophy' experience concepts are worthless.

You're like every other gnu out there, talk much and provide little.

T:The only point in discussing it is to alert those who may not know that's it's possible to explore outside of thought.

AS: Duly noted. So then what else is there to say about aphilosophy? Personally, I think I like being in thought...as I came from "outside of thought" and I will probably return to "outside of thought" when I die. So for the blip of time (70 to 100 years hopefully) I get to have "thought," I will try to train myself to have more complex thought, instead of none, since it is likely I will have none for eternity.

T:I like it, you've been hired as the Betsy Ross to make our flag!

AS:  I'd like to be paid in... $ vs [...] (in advance if you don't mind...thank you.)

How would you know!? Given that you've said that you've not done any.
I've said no such thing. Please stop clogging the thread with reacting just for the sake of reacting.
Heard of Phenomenology? Heard of Ouspensky or Gurdjieff, Husserl, Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, Grinder or Bandler?
Still looking for an authority figure? My, they have some fancy names, they must good!

You can listen to the Holy Yogidom Boo Boo, or any of these other guys, or...

You can listen to reality.

This is basically what you atheists have been calling for all along, the overturning of authorities in favor of a direct examination of reality.

But you are so hopelessly reactive, you don't even recognize your position when it's being handed back to you on a silver platter.

Not much, unless you like cartoon shows.

Guys, do you see now why women are taking over the world? She gets it in about 4 seconds.
Personally, I think I like being in thought...as I came from "outside of thought" and I will probably return to "outside of thought" when I die.
Yes, agreed completely, but....
So for the blip of time (70 to 100 years hopefully) I get to have "thought," I will try to train myself to have more complex thought, instead of none.
Some people's brains are exploding from overheating. Perhaps you've noticed the carnage and suffering that is running rampant around us?

If your brain is not overheating, then there is no problem, and no need for a solution. My wife's like that. Me on the other hand....
 I'd like to be paid in... $ vs [...] (in advance if you don't mind...thank you.)
I'll gladly pay you nothing on Tuesday for a flag today! Will that work in your billing system?

 Hear the contradiction in the above with your quotes from your gnus? Stop thinking that the gnus you read when a stoned hippie are the philosophers.

LMAO, "Fancy names", if this isn't an example of what AS and I were chatting about with respect to the 'Yanks' anti-intellectualism I don't know what is.
You can listen to the Holy Yogidom Boo Boo, or any of these other guys, or...

You can listen to reality.
And what does it say to you?

You're the one quoting the 'babas' as your authorities. But lmao that your baba had a psychology PhD and was an ex-acid head. Should have done philosophy is my thought.

Got an answer to the question that the reality you talk about is just the body's senses of 'reality'? That if you truly wish to explore 'reality' then one should become a scientist.
This is basically what you atheists have been calling for all along, the overturning of authorities in favor of a direct examination of reality.
No, we just say we don't believe in your 'god/s', especially since the reasons you gave for their existence appears now false in the light of sciences investigations, which was formed upon the idea of no acceptance of just 'authority's' word but upon inter-subjective agreement based upon falsifiable evidence.
But you are so hopelessly reactive, you don't even recognize your position when it's being handed back to you on a silver platter.
Only if you understood my position in the first place, which by your own words you cannot as you've not bothered to study what supports my position. Whereas I on the other hand have also studied and practiced yours so can clearly read a bullshitter gnu when I see one.

Is this what your 'reality' told you? Then ask again as they can't even get paid the same to do the same job. So if they are 'taking over' it's because they'll work cheaper.

Do you see how this will go round and round and round forever, and lead to nothing?

Then why are you doing it? I know why I am.

I thought leading to 'nothing' was the 'aphilosophers' 'thought'?

Ha, ok, good point.

Yes, we pound and pound and pound on all these concepts and debates, until they are finally pummeled in to meaningless nothing, and we realize that.

As example, arguing theism vs. atheism for hundreds or thousands of years, and seeing that after all that effort, we are still right where we started.

Or arguing this aphilosophy concept vs. that aphilosophy concept for the next 18,342 pages, and seeing that after all that effort, we are still right where we started.

We can look at this process a couple of ways...

We could say, just drop all this debate and discussion etc.

Or, if we're just not ready to drop it, and we see that fact clearly, then just roll with it. Talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. Debate and debate and debate and debate and debate. Fill up those 18,342 pages. Until we finally exhaust ourselves with all the pointless effort. And then drop it.
