And I pointed out that that would be fine. And you agreed, since, you said, there isn't anybody who can't do it.

This isn't rocket science: if voter ID should hurt somebody, you should be able to say who that person is.

The one thing nobody believes is that voter ID is any kind of problem to an honest, citizen voter of any kind.
That's why a number of organizations are bringing attention to the problems of the SAVE act ... because there are no problems with it .

Apparently. So it would seem they're not even blocking foreign citizens who are legal. But I agree with you that that seems too much latitude. Maybe you want to talk to your government about tightening that up. Or maybe there's an explanation you and I are not thinking of.
Either way, it's an extremely generous provision for the having of ID. Nobody's going to be hurt by all this, and no reasonable constiutency is even at threat. So what's the problem?
