WHY?Belinda wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 1:46 pmFear shows itself in several ways. Fear of asserting anything is very boring for everyone.
On the other hand, if God is omniscient then he always knew who was going to win the Super Bowl. So, when you think about it, winning or losing is nothing to really be either proud of or ashamed of.Astro Cat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:48 amGod willing, and if my Chiefs win. As they should
What a shameless shame you can't, Mr Can.

Yes, it matters a lot that people, as many people possible, apply their minds to what is known and try their best to assert what they they think and plan is the best way forward.Age wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 5:37 amWHY?
Is there some sort of rush or urgency here?
Also, are 'you', human beings, not able to find out or work out 'things' for, and by, "yourselves"?
Furthermore, compared to EVERY one it is only a very tiny and miniscule few who find the so-called 'fear of asserting' 'boring'.
I think you have MISSED or MISUNDERSTOOD the ACTUAL QUESTIONS that I posed in and asked here.Belinda wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 6:03 pmYes, it matters a lot that people, as many people possible, apply their minds to what is known and try their best to assert what they they think and plan is the best way forward.Age wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 5:37 amWHY?

Timidity is not an excuse.
God has got nothing to do with it.Astro Cat wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 2:48 amGod willing, and if my Chiefs win. As they should
"Apply the mind" is a colloquial expression. I can hardly believe you don't know what I mean by it.Age wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 5:02 amI think you have MISSED or MISUNDERSTOOD the ACTUAL QUESTIONS that I posed in and asked here.Belinda wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 6:03 pmYes, it matters a lot that people, as many people possible, apply their minds to what is known and try their best to assert what they they think and plan is the best way forward.Age wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 5:37 am

IF you think or BELIEVE that it matters a LOT that people apply "their minds" to what is KNOWN, and try their best to assert ...., then what, EXACTLY, is the 'mind', to you, anyway?
Could 'you' apply "your" so-called 'mind' here, a LOT better?
ONCE MORE you are MISSING and/or MISUNDERSTANDING me here.Belinda wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 3:43 pm"Apply the mind" is a colloquial expression. And LOL I have done this and am doing this MORE than ANY one else here in this forum. As PROVED True by the VERY WORDS in this forum.
Asking searching questions is very well , but only in reasonable proportion to making assertions. You don't even need to make firm claims, as suggesting some plan of attack or compliance is also helpful.Age wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 10:38 pmONCE MORE you are MISSING and/or MISUNDERSTANDING me here.Belinda wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 3:43 pm"Apply the mind" is a colloquial expression. I NEVER even suggested that I do NOT know what you MEANT, and for you to think or BELIEVE I did is a GRAVE MISUNDERSTANDING on YOUR PART.
I have just ask you VERY CLEAR and VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD QUESTIONS, and from a VERY OPEN PERSPECTIVE. MAYBE when you STOP making these VERY Wrong ASSUMPTIONS, then you MIGHT START ANSWERING them.
I suggest ONLY LOOKING AT the ACTUAL WORDS I USE, instead of ASSUMING ANY thing AT ALL.And LOL I have done this and am doing this MORE than ANY one else here in this forum. As PROVED True by the VERY WORDS in this forum.
I was NOT AWARE that there actually exists a 'proportion' of 'reasonableness' to 'unreasonableness', in relation to asking 'searching/clarifying questions' and to making 'assertions'.Belinda wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:12 amAsking searching questions is very well , but only in reasonable proportion to making assertions.Age wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 10:38 pmONCE MORE you are MISSING and/or MISUNDERSTANDING me here.

you speak here as though I NEVER make claims nor assertions.
What do your last three words here mean, or refer to, EXACTLY?
You can look up a dictionary to find out the meanings of these three words.Age wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 6:13 amI was NOT AWARE that there actually exists a 'proportion' of 'reasonableness' to 'unreasonableness', in relation to asking 'searching/clarifying questions' and to making 'assertions'.Belinda wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:12 amAsking searching questions is very well , but only in reasonable proportion to making assertions.Age wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 10:38 pm

But looking up the meanings of words in ANY dictionary will NEVER TELL me what you ACTUALLY MEAN.Belinda wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 10:22 amYou can look up a dictionary to find out the meanings of these three words.Age wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 6:13 amI was NOT AWARE that there actually exists a 'proportion' of 'reasonableness' to 'unreasonableness', in relation to asking 'searching/clarifying questions' and to making 'assertions'.

LOL So, to you, asking questions to obtain CLARITY is 'to be evasive'.
