I believe the statement 'God needs nothing' was stated to advise me that God needs nothing from me, perhaps from anybody. All these people that believe they are doing 'Gods' work, bless them, are in fact, on the whole, just benefiting fellow man. God truly needs nothing from us.
If you think your life amounts to little more than a merry-go-round then perhaps you need to Y's up...(in this one)
Not really. Because I don't believe in the soul so I believe when I die, I become extinct.
The irony is, that you are likely to be reborn into a family that believes as much, or should i say as little.
sthitapragya wrote:But the soul does seem to be on a merry-go-round, doesn't it, considering that every new body it takes, it gets a fresh start and a new challenge ?
No i don't believe this to be a merry-go-round.
sthitapragya wrote:Why is the soul looking for this challenge? To pass time?
I think ultimately to become a sage and truly experience heaven would be a worthwhile goal. The sage that contacted me from the ether i am certain knows far more about me than i do, likely knows my previous life\lives also.
sthitapragya wrote:You say God needs nothing from us. Since we and our soul are inseparable and are one and the same, God does not need anything from the soul either. So why does the soul need to be good?
I thought i had made it clear. The soul only needs to be good to improve ones soul path\journey.
sthitapragya wrote:Or more importantly, why is the soul even there considering God does not need it?
That's me...i'm the one that is considering God does not need me...purely based on what i was advised. However the sage or God has advised me to no longer program and do art.
Is it me that needs to express what i have experienced of God via art?
Or is it God that needs me to express what i have experienced of God via art?
I have been instructed many times 'get heaven.'
Who arts in heaven?

Is that it? The whole purpose of creating this earth is for souls to experience different bodies, so that they become so good that can experience heaven? So some kind of pleasure is the end goal of creation?
I thought i had made it clear. The soul only needs to be good to improve ones soul path\journey.
No. I meant more like once the soul improves so much that it fulfills all criteria. Then what happens? What happens after the soul experiences heaven? Does it continue to experience heaven for eternity? It that it for it?

If He is, I blame Him for my constipation and hemorrhoids, and any bowel cancers I may be diagnosed with. Must I have to place a No Vacancy or vagrancy sign on all my shorts?
BTW, there is no soul. Just a fragmented consciousness that dies with it's container, and no point to existence. Let's keep it simple, otay? Otay.

Fuck nose.
You want more speculation from me? I always attempt to answer based on my current experience\knowledge of this 'God' entity, but you are pushing buttons that don't (yet) exist around these parts.

Isn't it all speculation so far?

Note the words 'experience and knowledge of..'
I stated earlier regarding the soul and direct communication from a sage with respect to that.

What you think you experienced is a matter of contention. A blow to the head does that.

A matter of contention to short sighted atheists. Pity you haven't even the intelligence of self analysis let alone perceptive analysis provided of five senses.
I experienced and had full knowledge of God's existence 8 years prior to the 'blow to the head' - which was nothing more than a broken nose - dipshit.

Pity you had not realised just how many senses the human body is equipped with.
"Five" is about 2300 years old as an idea, and has long been superseded.

And NONE of them
extra-sensory.
