Wisely is in accordance with a certain way of thinking. Wisdom is that certain way of thinking.

That's not bad, but I don't think it's quite accurate either. All I know is that it's a way of thinking.

The wise are those that can. Wisdom is the ability to think because of experience and the intelligence to apply it.

I think my definition is by far the best so far. I just sort of know it is.

Yes, you're right, it might be, but certainly not by me.

Here is what is definitely not the case: that wisdom RESULTS in a certain way of thinking, or a certain set of opinions. That's a wide-spread misconception.

I am afraid that to define wisdom, one first must meet the criteria of wisdom. (Careful. This is a very slippery argument.)
