Start with reading this

Then you will know what actual economists think!
According to Keynesian economics an increase in the minimum wage will increase employment.

Why don't you quote an alchemist while you're at it.

surely this statement needs some qualification

should the minimum wage be $10? $15 $200 an hour?

Obviously there has to be a value past which the above claim does not hold

His erroneous claim doesn't hold true at any level, and that's not just my opinion, it's the opinion of today's mainstream economists.

Keyne's did get us out of the great depression. So if he is an alchemist, more power to the alchemists!!! :D *

Just because a precise amount is impossible to ascertain , does not mean that there is no difference between a heap of sand and a single sand.
* WW2 was an example of Keynesian economics. By spending huge amounts on the war, jobs were created and the economy was rescued.

Agreed!
However that is not an argument for decreasing the minimum wage. In actual dollars (adjusted for inflation) the minimum wage has drastically decreased.
In the 50s and 60s with its higher minimum wage, we were prosperous.

I just watched Chris Matthews. The fix is in. They finally talked about Sanders. The level of conversation was bobevenson level. Nothing substantive, only look at his hair, he looks like a hippy!
The powers that own our country and the media do not want anyone to take on Wall Street and the banks that destroyed our economy.
