World Liberty Financial, a company launched by Trump’s family, got a $2 billion investment from the United Arab Emirates.
Then the Trump administration sold powerful computer chips to the Emirates.

F.D.A. issued an official notice saying that it was approving the tablet form of Leucovorin, a folinic acid supplement, as a treatment for autism.
Leucovorin is a form of vitamin B first used in the 1950s to treat the side effects of chemotherapy.
“The supplement should not be given universally and is not a cure for autism" — Dr. Karam Radwan, Director of the UChicago Medicine Neurodevelopmental Clinic.
Leucovorin is sold by Dr. Mehmet Oz’s supplement company iHerb; Dr. Oz holds a government position, overseeing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
“This isn’t public health. It’s corruption dressed up as wellness.”

Re: Trump’s Swamp
“Robert Citrone, a billionaire who founded the hedge fund Discovery Capital Management, has a decadeslong relationship with Bessent that’s gone unreported in the U.S. press.
[…]
Citrone lobbied Bessent to push for a bailout from the International Monetary Fund in April, as the country’s economic woes grew. Bessent then reportedly helped persuade the IMF to disburse $20 billion to Argentina, which still failed to stabilize its economy, thus setting the stage for America’s own $20 billion intervention.”
From here.

Let’s bump this old thread. If you thought it had gone quiet for lack of swampy news from Trump’s America, you’re probably a moron (hi Walker, Immanuel Can, et al). No, it’s been quiet because Trump administration’s corruption is no longer news. However, every now and then, the stench from the MAGAmire breaches to a new dimension:
According to Bloomberg (that hotbed of woke commie insurgents)
According to Bloomberg (that hotbed of woke commie insurgents)
In a two-minute window starting at 6:49 a.m. in New York on March 23, traders sold contracts equivalent to at least 6 million barrels of Brent and West Texas Intermediate, more than 8.5 times the volume that had changed hands that time in the morning over the prior week. A similar increase in activity was observed in futures tied to the S&P 500, with contracts worth more than $2 billion in notional value traded — far more than would be expected in an otherwise quiet premarket session. Unusual volumes were also visible in natural gas and other futures markets.
Those trades paid off 15 minutes or so later, when Trump wrote on Truth Social that he was reversing his threat to attack Iranian infrastructure …
Anyone here think that’s okay? Walker? Immanuel Can?Responsibility for looking into the incident fell to the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the federal derivatives regulator … There, a team of career forensic analysts embarked on their usual task of pulling together data on the day’s winners and losers.
Based on the timing of the trading they observed and who was behind it, the analysts, from the [US Commodity Futures Trading Commission]’s Division of Market Oversight, filed a referral to the Division of Enforcement, which would decide whether to launch a full-scale investigation into potential insider trading, …
What happened next, [Bloomberg’s informants] said, was highly unusual: Mel Gunewardena, a senior adviser to the agency’s Trump-appointed chairman, Michael Selig, told a supervisor within the market oversight team to retract the referral.

"No, my boss said not to for some strange reason."
