Out with the News
All the news media does is rile people up and make us angry. Everywhere I look in the news it's people blaming each other and hating on each other. I've changed my browser home page to Google.com. I'm tired of living in anger, fear and anxiety. It's no way to live. News only creates animosity. That's all it's designed to do. It's all clickbait to promote advertising.

The truth could be a pack of lies for all anybody knows. Trust nothing.
There might not even be any nuclear weapons existing at all. All those objects that look like weapons could well be duds for all you know. No one will ever know for sure if nukes are actually real until one goes off. Until then, relax and enjoy your garden.

All those old Soviet and Eastern Bloc parades of giant, phallic missiles and other weapons were just fakes.

Even if the nukes are for real and fully loaded. That just makes the creators of these weapons really stupid, not smart.
The dinosaurs were pretty successful creatures dominating the earth for millions of years unchallenged and with no obvious predators, that was right up until an asteroid caused their mass extinction that led to an eventual human presence with the intent to voluntarily extinct themselves. I guess that’s kind of a dumb and not so intelligent or successful thing to do. But then another asteroid could hit, who knows. Shit happens, and death is the only prize.

Well, this is a ray of sunlight to disinfect the steady diet of Fear News pumped out by the Lefty media.Fairy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 03, 2025 7:09 amIt’s all designed to instil fear into you.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Fri Oct 03, 2025 2:25 am All the news media does is rile people up and make us angry. Kids in Gaza are getting fat.
New UNICEF Data Exposes the Gaza Starvation Farce

“After years of famine warnings from UN officials, experts, and the media, a comprehensive survey finds shockingly low levels of acute child malnutrition.”

This is the rationale that folks use for calling the defense against Iran's long-standing, status-quo terroristic aggression ... "Preemptive."Fairy wrote:"... know for sure if nukes are actually real until one goes off."
It's kind of like Biden green-lighting Putin when Biden said that Russia conducting a minor incursion into Ukraine ain't no big deal.
A minor nuclear incursion must have been the baseline for defining what a big deal is.
Re: Out with the News
Don't close your minds and throw out this news ...
There's news that mini-nuclear reactors are the coming thing.
You probably don't hear much about it because, well, Trump and the innovation inspired by capitalism are leading the charge.
(What you hear is bitching about data centers using too much water, when the water they do use is non-potable and far less than golf courses.)
Nuke is the necessary energy source for data centers that require cool air.
Europe and England, pay attention. Cool air ... nuclear.
Just imagine, nuclear-fueled air-conditioning based on the principle of mitigation for survival.
Sure beats cooking oneself in the summer while basking in the satisfaction of Climate-Blame.
Forget the windmills.
Edison wasn't completely wrong about keeping energy localized.
Of course, can't have corrupt nuclear inspectors ... so political affiliation would be a factor for employment.
Just look what happened to Chernobyl because of overriding reality with bureaucratic (deep state) righteousness.

Trump got what he wanted with Greenland, on behalf of the United States and allies.
Buying Greenland, at today's real estate prices, was just a red herring for the media to chew on.
Typical Trump.
The question is, what does Greenland get out of the deal?
Is it the kind of deal that future presidents will honor?
Although this link shows his avowed enemy …
Trump has studied the enemy of what he protects,
And because of that, he has learned his moves.

It is more complicated than that. Not just future presidents but Congress.Walker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2026 4:59 pm Trump got what he wanted with Greenland, on behalf of the United States and allies.

a) Denmark/Green land can "hold us to the deal" (can consider us bound by it) regardless of future action by Congress or future presidents.
b) Whether it is "the law of the land here" is up to Congress and future presidents.
c) The President (Trump in this case) can negotiate/make deals/treaties without prior approval by Congress.
Re: Out with the News
Where there's a will there's a way.
The original American aboriginals did okay with the casinos.
The deal will most likely be good for the Greenlanders, who need only risk nuclear attack because of the US bases.
Maybe self-sustaining, deep underground cities costing $billions should have been part of the deal.
Actually, the population of Greenland could fit into one underground city, and they could farm out the drudgery of fishing to immigrants looking to get a leg up in life.
All financed by the benevolent USA, of course, for the rights to build, forever.
I read awhile back that Denmark had forced sterilization upon the whole population sometime in the past. Targeted the girls.
Something to reference, for dates, times, personalities involved, money involved, etc. All the details.
Could there be better current deal all around, for the Greenlanders who wouldn't mind a taste of materialism.
Everything has a risk, even lethargy.
