Philosophy is based on what we know and imagine, yes?
If that were to change or expand, how flexible would our philosophies be? Would we be devastated, or could we simply say, "Ah, yes!"
Are there philosophical ideas that seem to ring true beyond specific beliefs and time periods?
Would discoveries beyond our current reality change our philosophies?

Each era interprets according to the known.
- When scientists couldn’t understand the beginning of creation they ended up using the Biblical account and calling it The Big Bang, for scientific reasons of course, which makes it acceptable to the known.
- Also, other ancient views consider "nothing" to be the condition of infinite potentiality, which is the source of all, i.e., God.
- The same could be said about the more recent Big Bang, the source of all.
- When scientists looked for essence of man and found the atom, the same search had long before already found Atman.
