When it becomes commonplace to off one's self, to assist someone in offin' themselves, nuthin' good can come from it.
It's an individual matter, private and personal. It should remain so. It ought not be sanctioned by the community. It ought not be a feature of public life.
Why, why and why? Lots of 'shouldas and oughtas'. Not a lot of substance there i.e. 'none'.

OK. Maybe a person can rob your house, and you'll be happy to assist them in suicide in that case.
It's weird the way there is this stigma around assisted suicide for people with mental illness, yet they are the very ones committing suicide in huge numbers. Cancer? Oh that's fine and humane. Yet mental torture is the only pain that there is no remedy for. People think it can be fixed with a pill for some bizarre reason. With cancer there is always the possibility of a cure. Not so mental illness or unbearable grief.

This is a philosophy forum.
Yes, it, so act like a philosopher and think about what I'm sayin' instead of gettin' pissy cuz someone won't help you kill yourself. I expect that crap from veg. You're better.
As for apples & Buicks: it's the same as apples & oranges, only worse.
The world is overpopulating. The environment is going to shit. Assisted suicide is better than prolonged misery when famine hits. Perhaps sad, but unfortunately, true. You can thank God for that also.
