Re: Making it Through these Times
What is the right thing to do if you have a wild man in your highest political office? Do we do everything in our power to oust him now? Do we hold our noses and wait it out till his term is over? Do we just suck it up until he goes too far?
When is too far? Was "too far" crossed when he eliminated birthright citizenship? Was "too far" when he closed USAID and created chaos in numerous other government agencies? Was "too far" when he created animosity between us and some of our closest allies? Was too far when he gave power to the unelected Elon Musk and his "gothic MAGA?" Was too far when he declared he would be annexing Canada, Greenland and the Panama Canal and renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America? Or is there no such thing as "too far"?
How long will the insanity continue? Is there a method to his madness that we don't know about? Will the sky suddenly open up and a miracle will present itself making the world a wonderful place with harmony and without war or strife? Or should we safely assume at this point that Trump is insane and do something to stop his reign before things get worse?
Granted, he's only a little over a month in office. Is this a just a drop in the bucket in terms of the damage that he will be doing or will he settle down and become more reasonable?

Well, think about it. This is a PN subthread to the overarching thread of philosophy, a thread woven together from copper, or silver, or platinum, to form a single thread of a unified philosophy, unified in the sense of pertaining to all experiences one has encountered, is encountering, or likely will encounter. Such an important thread in the weave of philosophy as philosophical counseling should be of platinum, the most valuable and rare of the three named energy transmitters, wouldn’t you agree? They say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but I think you will agree that there are shite questions formed from an unenlightened view, with an inherent ohm impedance that eventually costs more in energy than what gets transmitted. Even so, endeavouring to persevere in the environment of philosophy that is larger than biased propaganda, masquerading as philosophical counseling passing itself off as a question, can never-the-less can be a focus of energy for deliverance unto The Equaninimous Zone of objective philosophy. Quality questions are half the atomic makeup of platinum, but the rest required is rare to make a platinum weave, or blonde.

Re: Making it Through these Times
"garry childress" there is A LONG, LONG WAY TO GO, relatively speaking. 'The one', which you speak of, here, was only sworn in just over one month, only, ago, from the day this is being written, and so this is ONLY 'one month' out of how many MORE months and years, TO GO?Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 3:35 am What is the right thing to do if you have a wild man in your highest political office? One month is CERTAINLY NOT 'too far' compared to 'how far' there is 'to go'.
Also, let 'us' NOT FORGET that 'giving up' or 'handing over' the "presidency" is NOT some thing that 'is guaranteed' NOR 'has to and will happen'.
LOL WHEN was there 'sanity' FROM 'that one', OR IN 'that country'?
I saw a 'fairly interesting assessment' from one who 'grew up' in what is, laughingly, called the "united states of america", but who ACTUALLY went OUT OF 'that place', and FINALLY GOT TO SEE 'things' FROM ANOTHER perspecitve. If you would like to view it, then i will see if i can send you the link.
'That person' SAW what A VAST AMOUNT of other adult human beings, from around the word, SEE.
The INSANITY FROM, 'the person' and 'the country', which you are referring to, here, HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG 'time' ALREADY, and some would SAY, FOR 'way too long', now.
'Things' WENT 'too far' BACK WHEN 'human beings' were being USED AS 'slaves', in order to MAKE 'some people' 'monetary RICH'.
But, JUST LIKE 'some people' WOULD TRY' their HARDEST TO 'justify' 'that', BACK THEN, 'some people', STILL, 'TRY TO' 'justify' 'some people' BEING 'monetary RICH' and even GETTING MORE 'monetary RICH' through the USING of 'others', and BY KEEPING 'those human beings' 'monetary POOR', and BY MAKING 'them' even 'POORER', THEN 'they' can ALSO BE USED AS 'slaves'. Just NOT OBVIOUSLY AS 'shackled', and AS 'kept'.
The 'method' is what it IS DOING.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 3:35 am Is there a method to his madness that we don't know about?
The 'reason' for what you call 'its madness' IS so that it, and a relatively VERY FEW others, can BECOME MORE 'monetary RICHER'.
'it', and 'its, now, friends', have, OBVIOUSLY, HAD ONE 'goal', 'in mind', as it is sometimes referred to, and 'that GOAL' was TO BECOME 'monetary RICHER'. And, at 'the expense' OF 'others', was, OBVIOUSLY, NEVER OF ANY REAL CONCERN FOR ANY of them BEFORE.
So, do you SEE ANY REASON WHY 'they' WOULD CHANGE 'now'?
The 'method', by the way, of PROMISING TO RID 'that country' of ALL OF the, literally, PROPAGANDIZED 'aliens', and 'others', as well as, to MAKE 'that country' GREAT AGAIN, is so that 'that one' could GARNER A GROUP OF 'BLINDLY LED' FOLLOWERS, and even "SOLDIERS", TO OBTAIN and GAIN what 'it' Truly WANTS and DESIRES, which is; the CONTROL and POWER OVER 'the citizens' IN 'that country'. you like EXACTLY LIKE HOW some others HAVE DONE BEFORE 'that one'. you only have to think of so-called "supreme leaders" like, "kim jong un", which "donald trump" ADMIRES, LOOKS UP TO, WISHES it WAS LIKE 'NOW', and is OBVIOUSLY WANTING TO BE LIKE and DOING what 'it' CAN TO BE 'JUST LIKE'.
Just LOOK AT WHO are 'the ones' that "donald trump" VISITS, BEFRIENDS, and KEEPS AS ACQUAINTANCES.
Do you think "donald trump" would NOT WANT TO VISIT and/or BEFRIEND 'the one' known as "adolf hitler" if 'that one' was STILL AROUND, when this is being written?
It may well FEEL some thing LIKE 'the sky, suddenly, OPENING UP', WHEN what IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN, from 'your present day', perspective, DOES ACTUALLY OCCUR. BUT, WHEN 'the day' COMES WHEN 'Peace, IN Harmony' this IS, and WAS, 'the day' when you adult human beings OPEN UP "yourselves", by BECOMING Truly Honest, which IS WHEN, and ONLY WHEN, 'the world' that 'you' are WANTING and DESIRING, and EVERY one ELSE WANTS and DESIRES, or ONCE WANTED and DESIRED, CAN, and WILL, FINALLY BEGIN.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 3:35 am Will the sky suddenly open up and a miracle will present itself making the world a wonderful place with harmony and without war or strife?
Why ONLY 'at this point' you START TO 'safely assume' that "donald trump" IS 'insane'.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 3:35 am Or should we safely assume at this point that Trump is insane and do something to stop his reign before things get worse?
Would it NOT have been FAR WISER TO HAVE SEEN someone IS 'insane', 'self-centered', 'greedy', of just plain 'self-centered', only, WHEN they FIST STARTED SHOWING 'the signs'?
One month is NOT REALLY 'that much' COMPARED TO what is YET TO COME.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 3:35 am Granted, he's only a little over a month in office. Is this a just a drop in the bucket in terms of the damage that he will be doing or will he settle down and become more reasonable?
However, in regards TO 'SEEING 'damage' OR 'good', that will ALWAYS DEPEND ON "which side" of 'things' one is ON.
Obviously, if you are 'HIGHER' UP, as in 'CLOSER' TO, "leaders" or "supreme leaders", then the MORE you WILL ONLY SEE, or at least PRETEND TO ONLY SEE, 'the good' that 'the one' DOES, and SO WILL OBVIOUSLY FOLLOW and ABIDE BY what 'the one' SAYS, and WANTS.
But, as for 'the rest', they WILL MOST LIKELY SEE, and RECOGNIZE, the ACTUAL DAMAGE, and HARM, that IS ACTUALLY BEING DONE.

WHY, EXACTLY, do you HAVE and HOLD 'this BELIEF'?Walker wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 4:40 pm They say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but I think you will agree that there are shite questions formed from an unenlightened view, with an inherent ohm impedance that eventually costs more in energy than what gets transmitted. Obviously, 'this OPINION' resides IN 'this one', here.
But, does 'this OPINION' ALIGN with what IS ACTUALLY IRREFUTABLY True, and Right, EXACTLY?

I live in a small town surrounded by farms in a blue state - so the area I am in is more purple than blue or red.
There are people worried about cost increases should Trump go ahead of tariffs on Canada - and yet I met this guy who - even as he is worried about his already thin profit margin - thinks its all worth it because transgender girls won't be able to play football with real girls anymore.
I suppose its a matter of priorities.
Thankfully, most other Trump voters do not share these priorities so there is hope.
