Listening to Americans, especially where politics is concerned.

So many types of intoxications associated with this planet... all throughout history! Mentally drunken civilizations that blindly bring about their own undoing. It seems to be what we humans often do.attofishpi wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 3:30 pm Listening to Americans, especially where politics is concerned.
Of course, Americans include a very large and diverse group of people... just like any nationality or other large label... so your perspective is based on what you're attuned to seeing, hearing, and believing. You could have been born and raised American, you know.

I find it somewhat amusing that someone who seems to despise Americans nevertheless uses as his forum avatar a cartoon image created by an American...Lacewing wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:34 pmSo many types of intoxications associated with this planet... all throughout history! Yes, there are very intelligent Americans that take the piss out of America - Seth Macfarlane is one intelligent and talented enough to do so, you on the other hand are an ancient seed that appears to require pictures constantly to portray the outdated hippy shite you espouse.seeds wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:58 pmI find it somewhat amusing that someone who seems to despise Americans nevertheless uses as his forum avatar a cartoon image created by an American...Lacewing wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:34 pmSo many types of intoxications associated with this planet... all throughout history! Have the aliens designed people only for their civilisations to crash, or is the eternal suffering of humanity part of their plan?

I’m an American, but if I were British…
I would be well read.
I would be cosmopolitan.
I would be eating a healthy diet.
I would ride a bicycle.
I would eat bland foods.
I would use the metric system.
I would understand English currency.
I would be annoyed at the hubris of Americans.
I would use the English language correctly.
I would have trouble driving on the left side of the road.

Well, I think you have accomplished many of those, but certainly attempt to adhere to the entire list (get rubber bumper bars)commonsense wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2023 12:48 pm I’m an American, but if I were British…
