Oh My God

I guess any old God explanation will do, since there seems to be no way to exclude them.

There are over 100000 philosophies being practiced by humanity. But don't worry... Only yours is right.

Same circus. Different monkeys.

The circus is always the same even though it goes by many names.

Reality. Existence. The World. The Universe. The Multiverse. Being. Matter. Truth. The Continuum. Objectivity.

"5,000 different gods being worshipped" seems pretty dubious unless one is really stretching definitions of "god," "worship," etc.

Aside from that, yeah, the sentiment of that is on-target. It's similar to folks who buy objective values--whether it's ethics, aesthetics, etc., and they just so happen to know what's moral versus immoral, what's the best music, films, etc. contra everyone else.

I don't buy that you don't buy objective values. Of course, you can SAY it (because words are cheap, nay - words are free in Philosophy) but you can't actually COMMIT to it (in actions).

I asked you to murder your neighbor on YouTube and you didn't. If it's just an arbitrary choice then demonstrate you can choose otherwise.

There's a bunch of autonomous shit that's going to engage in your thick skull when the time comes to end another human's life. Ask me how I know, having held a loaded gun in a serial child rapist/murderer's mouth.
