The tie that saved Rome. Do Western nations need a State Religion?

How should society be organised, if at all?

Yes really. You'll need to find out where in the Koran is states that covering the whole body is part of the religion.
You are correct that it was not meant to be, but Islam has been corrupted and their misogynous men decided that it was a good way to subjugate women.

Women are able to choose that dress in France, as they are able to choose to give up their lives to be nuns.
The law is stupid.

Really?

The French believe in liberty.

You believe in freedom.

Tell us what you think the smart first rule should be of anyone who is enjoying freedom and or liberty?

IOW. What is a free man's first responsibility to his fellow man?

I'm glad you asked me this question.
It does not advance the cause of Liberty to enforce a dress code. If there is one woman that feels she wants to cover her face, and thinks it her religious duty to do so , then liberty demands that she be able to do so. Just as a nun makes a choice to enter the service of god agree to dress appropriately. Liberty is only served by toleration.
A law that in all cases bans the use of religious costume is tyranny.

Would a law be introduced to demand that no man could enforce a woman to wear those clothes then I could agree with that.
However the law is RACIST. Racism is on the rise in France and this is the result- a law that allows the habit, but denies the Burkha.

Liberty is served when a woman feels that she has the right to wear or not wear the Burkha, and be able to seek the protection of the law against any man, woman, or group that tries to enforce her to wear it.
The same needs be said of the nuns habit, as not so long ago French girls were forced to join nunneries.

You are glad I asked the question but you did not answer it.

"Liberty is served when a woman feels that she has the right to wear or not wear the Burkha,"

Correct yet that right is denied her by Islam.

To answer my own question since you did not.

The first duty of a free person is to insure that all share that freedom and Muslim women are denied that right.

That is what the Golden Rule is all about.

That is likely the motivation of the ban on such apparel as Muslim women are forced to wear it by misogynous Muslim men.

No it is not. The denial of dress code is done by the law of France, which ought to protect her right to wear what she wants.
Please have the decency to read what I said more carefully as I think you would agree with what I said if you took more care over it.

You forget that Muslim women are already being denied that right by their Muslim husbands and that the law is preventing that and giving Muslim the right to not be forced. Sure they are using compulsion of law to do so but to not do so is more evil that to do so.

Perspective is everything. This links speaks to that notion.

One can also start from another premise: Islam must of necessaity be driven from Europe. Once one makes that declaration, and once one has grounded it in cogent argument, and has done the intellectual work to form that argument, it is a question not of debate but of implementation. And the first order of implementation is purveying this understanding from one to another.

That's some top quality fascism in the name of freedom you got there. Very impressive stuff.

We tend to see in terms of, or controlled by, directing tropes. So it isn't surprising that you would 1) see it in those terms and 2) react (predictively) against it.

And yet it is fascist to expel an entire religion from a whole continent. So you can demand the moral high ground with evasive words, but you did the fascism, so it isn't going to work.

No you are wrong. France is trying to deny women the right to war the burkah and are therefore no different from the men trying to make women wear it who do not want to.
I do not see the tyranny of French law, as any different from the tyranny of Muslim men, a MINORITY of whom make some women cover up. Both compel women.

Some Muslim man (a minority) demand their women dress a certain way. SOME women WANT to wear the burkah, but France will not allow them.
That is not liberty.
Frances duty to is allow those that want to wear the Burkha to do so, and prevent others from compelling those that do not want to wear the burkha.
If you cannot see the difference , I cannot explain it to your limited brain any further.

That is well on it's way with many nations voting right wing instead of for their politically correct and blind left wing.

Even those politicians that were denigrated and cursed as racist a few years ago are being embraced after a few years of Muslim idiocy and crime.

Typical name calling fool who does not think that fighting for our superior ideology when it is under attack.

I guess that you have no relatives or ancestors who fought and died so that you could shoot your un-intelligent mouth off.
