Pull your head in Hobbes and try and think like an American. If it says in a Hollywood movie that there were ten then there were fucking ten. End of story.

Sadly none of my neighbours have any asses, so I tend to covet their wife's pussies.

Being allergic to cats, I just have to make do with the ass. There's sometimes a bit of bearing false witness involved, depending on whether or not I'm spotted.

Yorkies telling porkies shalt not attain to the kingdom of heaven, (but then again you probably wouldn't know another soul in the joint anyway.)

There were originally six hundred and thirteen Commandments not ten

I'm referring to the ones on the tablets as shown in the OT.

Which version of the OT is that? The version which attaches to the Christian bible was written in the `15th century under commission to the Borgias so its historicity is questionable, to say the least.

The version that existed before the NT came about. You can't win this one Leo. Any more nonsense from you?

The original Old Testament which is essentially the Torah is where all of the six hundred and thirteen
Commandments can be found and specifically in Exodus and Deuteronomy and Leviticus and Numbers

I don't deny that. The ten most important are listed on the two tablets and wouldn't you agree that it's far easier to talk about ten than 613 commandments? (can you name all 613 commandments?)

If you prefer the 613 commandments, you can always start your own thread on that.

From my online dictionary:

"com·mand·ment
kəˈman(d)mənt/
noun
a divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments.
a rule to be observed as strictly as one of the Ten Commandments."

Apparently some live in ignorance of what they should already know.

You have contradicted yourself since you originally said there were only ten Commandments in the Old Testament but then said
you only meant the ones on the tablets when I said there were six hundred and thirteen that you obviously did not know existed

Check my OP again as that's not what I said. In the meantime you're contradicting my online dictionary - whose word do you think I'll accept for the Ten Commandments? Yours when you're not a recognized authority or my online dictionary? You're fighting a battle you've lost.

Which tablets would they be, Phil? One would think that in the modern age a photograph of them would be available online somewhere but I've drawn a blank. In which museum might I find these tablets?

Are you playing the fool Leo? You already know the tablets have been lost for many years (supposed to have been housed inside the Ark of the Covenant) and no photographs have ever been taken. And you also know from written tradition about the two tablets with the Ten Commandments as mentioned in the Torah and the OT. So why do you play games Leo? Are you a dummy?
