Art is NOT entirely meaningless after all.
I've figured out the second equation.
Basically, a good piece of art will match up with your brain. "Immersing" you in it. Your brain becomes aligned with the art, and thus cancels itself out. Similar to the effect anti-matter has on matter.
Your soul, beon, consciousness, or whatever you want to call it, does not belong in this world. This world, is not in congruence with your brain. There is no harmony. Evolution made your brain desire hard to obtain things, like sex food and water. Your brain hates pain even though pain is incredibly easy to obtain. There is no harmony, suffering is by default.
But with a good piece of art, it can match up with your brain, cancelling out your brain, similar to how anti-matter cancels matter and releases light.
The problem is, I don't know the exact formula. Legend of Zelda came close but of course it is a videogame, and repetitive, and only lasts for short burts. There might not even be a way to create a permanent Matrix, after all the movie taught us that the Matrix would fall short.
So art is not so pointless after all. But maybe we are going about it the wrong way. We are focusing on art too hard.
Perhaps we should focus on the brain accommodating art! Thus, we need to begin modifying the human DNA at once! Let the pleasure begin!
