Re: Dreams

I'm bothered because here I am having to do all your thinking for you. Can't you do it for yourself? All people who believe in Magicians and Psychics are deluded. 1. You are most presumptuous to believe you are doing any of my thinking. You haven't shared my life experiences and you know absolutely...

Re: Dreams

Exactly. Magicians are honest. You only have an 'open mind' because you know nothing about it and you haven't bothered to look into it properly. So you gave someone a bunch of numbers and you think ghosts told that person about some dream you had decades ago? I don't know whether or not that women g...

Re: Dreams

How can they depend on me for a living? I have never paid anyone for information. You seem to be very angry about these "arseholes". Is that because you or someone you love fell prey to a charlatan? You seem also to be angry with the "idiots who lap it up". As far as magicians ar...

Re: Dreams

.
So how many cases has she solved? There is no guarantee that superstitious idiots don't work for the FBI. The police have no right to give those charlatans any credence at all. I find it very difficult to be absolutely positive that my opinion is correct on anything. I have no knowledge of...

Re: Dreams

Bill has no meaning for me whatsoever. 'Psychics do indeed have a 'gift', the gift of manipulation and deceit, and an uncanny ability to separate the gullible and the vulnerable from their money. Without exception? I know a woman who works with the FBI on cases and refuses payment for what she offe...

Re: Dreams

.
How do you think that works? If I have a gift to paint, and I sell a painting this does not mean I no longer have a gift to paint. Surely you are just talking bollocks here?
Bollocks must be a colloquialism where you are. I'm a Texan and have no idea what you're talking about. Howe...

Try Ramipril - it actually works.
So do a number of other meds, but it seems to me that it is better to learn the cause of the problem and correct it so I don't have to depend on a pill.

Re: Dreams

I agree almost completely, but I do know there are some people with a gift for dream interpretation. Like psychics, there are some who are not charlatans. I had the great good fortune (or perhaps my subconscious made that person available when I needed her) of knowing one of these gifted people. Sh...

Re: Dreams

As far as psychics are concerned, I believe that some have a gift. However, I also believe that those who sell their gift have done exactly that. The sold it so they no longer have it. Hence, most psychics are charlatans.

Re: Dreams

I am new to this forum and have just read about half of the posts on this subject. I can assure you that dreams are not "just a dream" because I have been working with my dreams since 1984 and have learned a little of the meaning of the symbols we use in our dreams. I have read Freud and J...

Re: Hello, - again.

Doc, My life has been a bit different. I spent my entire career working in one aspect of Quality Management or another. I hold a Master's in Quality Systems and spent most of my career building and installing quality systems in various manufacturing operations. During mid-life crisis I fell in love ...

Re: What is important in life?

The "religious" stuff you refer to was tongue in cheek. The Gospel of Thomas makes an interesting read as do all the other texts that were left out of the Holy Bible. If you are in the least curious, check online for the Secret Book of John and the Gospel of Thomas. Otherwise, you can find...

Re: Lone Wolf's Intro

I have to confess that IT is not an original idea. I got it from THE APOCHRYPHON OF JOHN in which Jesus explains the story of creation to John. In it he says, "In the beginning was IT. IT had no name because none came before IT to name IT." Since my perception of a god is that no one can e...

Lone Wolf's Intro

As my user name indicates, I'm a person who enjoys his time alone. I'm a 72 year old retiree who spent his entire career writing procedures and work instructions so people would have rules about doing things. I hated routine and rules, but didn't really become aware of my distaste until mid-life cri...
