Re: Is Psychology Science? (Peter Rickman)

You can't really apply the scientific method to the full on human behaviour, its way too complex.
And not being a 'hard science' doesn't make it false by default.

Psychology could be regarded as a philosophy.

Re: Nothing exists outside the mind

The burden of proof is squarely on anyone who defends the thesis that the chair is necessarily a referent
show me a chair. You can't, because when you hold up a chair I see billions of electron
Yes moron, and I asked him to show me some electrons
then I'l show him a chair perhaps

Re: Nothing exists outside the mind

John W. Kelly, the burden of proof is on kake. he claims:
show me a chair. You can't, because when you hold up a chair I see billions of electron
I want him to show me the electrons, I never saw any

also
Anybody want to contend?
burden of proof is not on us

burden of proof is on you.
For example, show me a chair. You can't, because when you hold up a chair I see billions of electrons

Re: Arguments about Him

Re: Arguments about Him

I think you and Jester have the issue backwards. I'm not raising science to prove God here. I leave that to Ray. Jester keeps quoting me and implying how is what I am saying philosophy. I feel I am replying to a conversation. I didn't lead it to here. However Jester and I and you all know that the ...

Re: Arguments about Him

Also, it's interesting that in a post decrying the lack of arguments you didn't actually provide any yourself. Tu quoque. Because I didnt assert anything here, ITs HIS claims to prove. the burden of proof is on him, he makes allegations but never provides proof or arguments. Get lost Jester. I was ...
