"SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS" is neither a cliché nor is it true. It is, rather, meaningless. Orwell was demonstrating how a few carefully chosen words can be destructive of meaning. To mistake it as a truth is to completely miss the point. just like the quote “All animals are equal, ...
